3 Ways to Boost Your Self-Confidence

Mastering self-reflection is one of the keys to growth and clarity. It allows you to not only learn more about yourself, and what you truly want, but also helps you to make decisions that help you stay focused and aligned with your vision.

The Key to Mastering Self-Reflection:
The first step in mastering self-reflection is identifying and understanding your core values. What matters to you? What is important to you when it comes to living your day-to-day life?

Example: Being a part of community-oriented things makes you feel a sense of belonging and connection.
Next, practicing mindfulness and being present is an effective way to be in the mind state to self-reflect.

Lastly integrating self-reflection into your daily routines will allow you to have consistent growth.

By doing these things you are committing to not only mastering self-reflection but also creating self-awareness of your thoughts and emotions while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself.

What is a Clarity Session?
It’s a session where you ask yourself questions and reflect on where you are currently. It’s a check-in with your thoughts and emotions that helps you to trust your intuition and guide you to keep moving forward.

The Clarity Session:
  1. Find a quiet, distraction-free space
  2. Use a journal or digital device to record your thoughts
  3. Decide a specific aspect of your life that you want clarity on
  4. Come up with related questions that are related to the purpose of the session
  5. Start with a mindfulness exercise like focusing on your breathing or meditation to clear your mind
  6. Reflect on the questions you came up with and keep asking yourself specific questions as the answers come up. It is helpful to revisit your WHY when you are feeling stuck. Reflect on what is working and what is not or what you want to let go of.
    Examples:
    What am I currently resisting or struggling with?
    What is my mission or vision for my life or business?
    Am I currently aligned with my vision?
    Are my decisions aligned with my vision/values?
  7. Trust your intuition and gut feelings while you are doing your clarity session
  8. Write down any insights or realizations you have
  9. Use your insight and come up with an inspired action plan that relates to your new clarity
  10. Set goals and start implementing your plan
  11. Celebrate your new insight + express your gratitude for a new perspective!

Once you have finished your session, it is important to revisit your goals/plan so you can reassess, stay focused, and make sure you are doing things that are helping you move forward. The beauty of self-reflection is it allows you to evolve and grow as you gain more clarity.
